Jobber review: tested with a seven-user HVAC benchmark

Bottom line: Jobber completed the core customer-to-cash workflow and produced the strongest safe draft-invoice result in our two-product test. The later correction run also calculated $7,500 revenue, $4,900 cost, $2,600 profit, and a 34.67% margin correctly. Revudit Limited does not assign an overall score.

Strongest observed result

Pass — persistent unsent invoice. The approved $7,500 quote converted to a job and then to an invoice that persisted as Draft / Not sent. We did not email, text, mark as sent, collect payment, or connect a bank.

Most important observed limitation

Fail — same-person overlap warning. A 9:00–10:00 visit and a 9:30–10:30 visit assigned to the same owner saved without a warning, block, or override. Both appointments were visible together after saving.

Costing and profitability

The quote editor exposed selling prices but not internal costs. After conversion, the job form exposed unit-cost fields. Entering $4,000 equipment, $600 labor, and $300 materials produced $7,500 revenue, $4,900 cost, $2,600 profit, and 34.67% margin. This validates job-level costing, not automatic quote-to-job cost transfer.

AI finding: updated by later test

On 12 August, Jobber AI correctly reported two active jobs and no separate upcoming jobs. It also returned $0 for sent/open estimates while identifying the excluded $7,500 draft. That later account-state test supersedes the earlier unresolved conclusion for current summaries. The 10 August omission remains disclosed because a later result does not erase earlier evidence.

Seven-user pricing

Vendor-stated and Date-sensitive: Grow includes 10 users. The regular monthly no-commitment price was $399/month in USD on 17 August 2026, excluding applicable sales tax. See the full seven-user pricing calculation.

Best fit and poor fit

Best fit: an owner-led home-service team that wants a coherent client → quote → job → draft invoice flow, recurring work, and job-level profitability.

Poor fit: a team that must verify restricted-technician permissions before buying, depends on proactive double-booking prevention, or expects quote-level costs to transfer automatically.

Not tested

No restricted-worker session, customer email/SMS, signature, deposit, payment, bank setup, paid Receptionist conversation, native-app worker test, or 16+ user quote was completed. Visible or vendor-stated controls are not represented as tested.
