Privacy Policy

1. Who controls your information

Revudit Limited, a company registered in Ireland under company number 785850, with its registered office at Workhub, 6 Fern Road, Sandyford, Dublin 18, Dublin, D18 FP98, Ireland, operates revudit.com and is the controller of the personal data described in this policy.

2. Information we receive

The public website has no account registration, comment feature or contact form. We may receive:

  • information you choose to send by email, including your address, message, attachments and correspondence history;
  • correction requests and the evidence supplied with them;
  • ordinary technical records created when the website is delivered, such as IP address, requested URL, date and time, browser information, response status, security events and server logs;
  • business contact, application, payment and tax information if Revudit Limited later enters a supplier or partner relationship; and
  • limited administrative records created by authorised staff in WordPress and related hosting systems.

3. Why we use it

We use personal data to respond to enquiries and rights requests; investigate and document corrections; operate, secure and troubleshoot the website; maintain editorial and business records; assess or administer supplier and partner relationships; meet accounting, tax and legal duties; and establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

Depending on the context, the legal basis is our legitimate interests in operating a secure, accurate publication and business; steps requested before a contract or performance of a contract; compliance with a legal obligation; or consent where the law requires it. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests.

4. Cookies, analytics and affiliate tracking

Revudit Limited currently deploys no public analytics, advertising tags, affiliate tracking, contact forms, local storage or session storage. The public site is designed to work without non-essential cookies. Essential technical cookies may be used only if needed to protect or administer the service. Authenticated WordPress administrators may receive login and administration cookies that public visitors do not receive.

The current position is described in the separate Cookie Policy. We will update this policy and obtain consent where legally required before introducing any analytics, advertising, affiliate measurement, embedded media or new storage.

5. Service providers and transfers

We use service providers to host the website and business email, maintain the WordPress installation, protect the service, back up systems and support normal business operations. Hostinger provides current hosting and email infrastructure. Providers act under their own terms and data-protection commitments and may process data outside Ireland or the EEA. Where required, transfers are protected by an adequacy decision, approved contractual safeguards or another lawful mechanism.

We do not sell personal data. We may disclose it to professional advisers, public authorities or counterparties where reasonably necessary and lawful, including during a corporate transaction.

6. Retention

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purpose collected, security, evidence, accounting, tax, dispute and legal requirements. Routine logs are kept for the shortest operationally useful period allowed by the hosting and security configuration. Correspondence and correction evidence are reviewed after the matter closes and deleted or minimised when no longer needed. Contract, payment and tax records are retained for the applicable statutory period. Backups expire through the provider’s normal rotation rather than being used as an archive.

7. Security

We limit administrative access, use account protections and updates, and rely on our providers’ infrastructure controls. No internet service is completely secure, so please do not send unnecessary sensitive information by ordinary email.

8. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or an objection to processing, and may withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. Email privacy@revudit.com. We may need information to verify your identity and will respond within the legally required period.

You may complain to the Irish Data Protection Commission or another competent supervisory authority. Details are available at dataprotection.ie.

9. Children

Revudit Limited publishes business-software content and does not direct the public site to children. We do not knowingly collect children’s personal data through the public site. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us so we can assess and remove it where appropriate.

10. Changes

We may update this policy when the site, law or processing changes. We will update the effective date shown above when this policy changes and will describe a material change where useful.
